Tips From Superstar David Woods

1. To create millions in this industry from prospecting and closing, you should talk to AT LEAST 30 people a day. This doesn’t mean you’re having 30 long conversations a day, it means you offer the opportunity to check out your business to at a minimum of 30 people a day, 5 days per week.

2. Don’t babysit your down line. They can do it on their own (trust me). Seriously, if you want to be a sponsor who babies your people, you’re not going to make very much money, and that’s the truth. If you want to have time freedom, be a sponsor who won’t spend hours and hours pampering your every desire. Be someone that when asked ‘what do I do’ you simply respond by allowing your downline listen to you prospect and close new people.

3. Keep it part time, no more than 5 hours a day (6-7 if you’re absolutely nuts and are already making bank), and take the weekends off. Take a vacation occasionally, too. If you’re starting and working full time, you should not be working your business more than 3 hours per day, or you’ll burn out. Replace your income from work, then double it, and then and only then should you quit your job and go full time.

4. Learn to use technology to use your time effectively. You can use phone technology to prospect that allows you to talk to approximately 15-20 people an hour. If you’ve used the phone before, you know how incredible that is. It’s not only available to one company, it’s proper use and understanding of systems and technology. You can do through a proper system in 3 hours what a less up to date person could not do in 10.

5. Don’t spend tons of money on leads. If you are purchasing leads, don’t spend more than $1 per lead, ever. Most of the time, leads that cost $8 are the exact same, and come from the same source as a lead that costs $.50 or less. Here’s a better idea, though: Stop wasting your money, because most leads are a waste of time. Want some interested people? Pick up the paper and start calling people who are placing classified ads and selling things. Call some Realtors. Recently I generated 50 hot, interested leads in less than 30 minutes with some clever use of technology. Learn some strategies, do them consistently, and you’ll save thousands while you make millions.

6. REALLY listen to people. Be interested and ask questions. You’ll go farther by opening your ears than you ever will by rambling your mouth. Take notes. You’ll be amazed at the things people will tell you when you care about them, but you have to REALLY listen.

7. Here are the numbers for you numbers crunching fans: Out of 30 people, you will have 20 say that they are open to looking into what you are doing. Out of those, you will have 10 quality conversations and connect on a core level with about 3 people. If you are skilled, it is actually possible to recruit 2 out of 3 of those people, but you should be able to recruit at least 1.
With a solid work ethic over a consistent time, you will be able to recruit between 300-500 people per year in 20-30 hours per week of work, and it doesn’t matter at all which company you work.

THE PEAK PERFORMER

In order to be successful sometimes you have to look at how your living your life.

There is a fine line between failure and success it is so fine sometimes we scarcely know when we pass it, it is so fine that we are often on that line and don't know it many a person has throwed up her hand when a little more effort, a little more patience would have achieved success.

The first thing to determine is what success means to you . What is your life gravitating toward comfort or towards growth?

John Maxwell said that everyday you are doing the right thing you are being a success it just hasn't shown up yet. It's just a matter of time, success is a process and the secret is in your daily agenda.

Exercise
  1. If you had 10 times more confidence and nothing could stand in your way what would you do?
  2. Make a list of all the things that are obstacles for you having that.
  3. Identify what your values are. Don't procrastinate, or turn on the tv, or read the paper when you are suppose to be running or building a business. You have to do income producing activities
Ok now that you have your list are they things you could delegate, more household help, things that more money could fix (the answer to that would be sell more of your product).  You really do know once you make that list what to do to get to that goal.  Now you have some strategies some things that you can start attacking and taking action on. You know what's holding you back from living your peak performance.

We have to live our life on purpose it's not about material things, it has to be something bigger than you, an when we align our purpose with our life then you can look at everything that comes in your pathway.  You can ask does this get me to my purpose and if it doesn't then that gives you permission to say NO.  Therefore you can stay on track with your purpose you only want to do things that get you to your purpose or align with your purpose

One successful trait of successful people they see opportunity where others don't.
A peak performer makes it a point to add value to others despite circumstances around them. They are always other focus. Difficulties create pressure which shapes us into people of  character and compassion that you will need to go to the next level. How many goals would you accomplish if you weren't afraid to try?Every time you stare down a fear and you press forward toward your goal you become more powerful. When obstacles come your way it will seem easier to give up when this happens ask yourself how am I going to live with myself if I don't pursue my dream. Cause good is not good enough you want great for yourself.

Get passed self imposed limits records will be broken. John Maxwell says that when we are from 0 to 7 ages the key question we ask is WHY from 7 to 17 ages we ask WHY NOT and from 17 to 80 years of age we ask BECAUSE and that's because we all screw up and our brain is the best computer out there and it never fails to remind us.

RECRUITING IS THE ANSWER TO EVERYTHING...RITA

I wish I could take credit for the RITA but I didn't coin it. Top earner Janine Avila is the one who developed it.  She was a single mom with 5 children when she started her business because she wanted to stay at home with her kids and pay her mortgage.  Her story is in Guerrilla Marketing and it talks about her personal system.  She followed the leaders in her industry that were making it happened in the industry.

This is the one learned skill that you have learn  to make the money in this business.  It is absolutely necessary.  RITA stands for recruiting is the answer.  Whatever you want is time freedom, money freedom, new car. You have to keep people in the pipeline because people will come in this business and go but you have to keep recruiting.  Recruiting is a mind-set and you have to fall in love with recruiting.  It is a income producing activity and this is something you have to do everyday.  When you get leads you are constantly to bringing in new people in.  You have to listen to what they say why your opportunity is for them.

Never stop recruiting in this business is helping other people get what they want and how this business can change people lives. You can do this business part-time but not spare time if you want to be profitable.

You have to follow-up with interest and respect.  The average it takes about six weeks for them to join once you have  them in your pipeline filled up you will have constant people coming into the business.  It's like popcorn they start popping at their own time.

How do the top earners in a marketing business such as Mary Kay, Amyway or Agel  make those commission checks?  I mean we have all seen representatives before who have started one of these type of businesses fail.  Why is that?  What do the top earners do that the remainder don't know OR don't do.

SET YOURSELF UP FOR SUCCESS IN YOUR NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS

Here are some tips to set yourself up for successful business:

1. Fill out your applications
2, Set yourself up on auto ship
3. Figure out what you need to do to max out your compensation plan.  Think long-term if you don't want to start at the bottom then start at the top package.  Your new business partners will do what you do.
4. Create your quick story within the first weeks or month you get into your business. Go ahead and create your testimony.
5. Find some people to practice on .  Make that list of resources which would be all the people you know. Go ahead and try to create a list of 200 people  you know that will allow you to practice on them.  Also once you get someone to let you practice ask for more referrals of people or other friends they know that will allow you to practice.
6. Plug into training.  Right away start going to the meetings and find mentors in your organization that have achieved what you want to achieve.
7. Don't quit if you quit then you will never reach your dream.
8. Set up your work schedule partime 10 to 20 hours a week.  For full time networkers 25 hrs to 40hrs a week.  Make sure you are doing the correct activities which include getting new customers, or  getting new business partners.

2011 Setting Up Your Lead Generation System

You are excited and ready to take your network marketing to the next level in 2011.  You've set your 90 day goals and the goals for the year.  Now what?  You have to execute a  plan or strategy that will allow you to reach your goals.  Frankly, if you plan to fail and execute your plan then you are doomed.

However, this should not be happening to you.  You should develop your 90 day plan for example Jan, Feb March, then April May June and so forth to obtain your yearly goals.   Set out clearly the goals you intend to reach and after the initial 90 days evaluate. Start with the end in mind and set your month, weekly, and then your daily tasks that you must do to ensure you meet your goal.  Make sure your goals are realistic.  If your not sure what you need to do to reach your goal then I would suggest you reach out to your director, or someone in your organization that has achieved or had the success you want to give you some suggestions.


In our business of network marketing no matter what company you are with you have to talk to people.  So 80% to 90% of your time should be spent in getting new customers or new business partners. 

Their are two ways you get paid either you retail the product, or you bring on business partners to further develop their business.  If you are full time and are seeking to generate a check from the company then you need to speak with 30 people a day.  Of course if you are part-time then you will talk to less but you have to talk to at least about 5 or 10 people a day. 

So how are you going to generate your leads, you will generate them yourself or use a lead generation company.  Both companies I mention have a automatic marketing system they generally charge $19 to $40 a month to use the system.  W.T Powers they will put your leads in their system not sure if they will email them to you or not.  However, the earn pro system they will send you the lead via your email or in your system.  So you can purchase leads from them and not have to use their system.
